This interactive workshop is focused on mediation; negotiation; and regional issues in the context of Northeast Asia. The simulation is designed to a) give participants some background understanding of Northeast Asia regional issues related to peace, and b) expose participants to the unique challenges and opportunities of negotiating and peacemaking in the twenty-first century. This simulation will be based on the theme Women, Peace, and Security. During the workshop, participants will be divided into small groups and given a role sheet with a country or organization's perspective. Using their role sheet, each group will negotiate with the other groups in order to come to a consensus about the scenario provided. 목표: 일반적으로 행해지는 다른 시뮬레이션의 경우, 동북아시아의 갈등이 고조되는 위기 상황이나 최악의 시나리오를 바탕으로 어떤 일이 벌어질지를 상상해 보는 방식으로 진행됩니다. 하지만 이번 평화 프로세스 시뮬레이션은 이러한 각본을 뒤집어, 동북아 지역의 주체들이 모여 공통의 문제에 대해 협력한다면 어떤 가능성이 있을지를 참가자들이 생각해 보도록 하는 것이 목표입니다. Why: Previous simulations have imagined what would happen in a crisis or worst-case scenario if tensions in Northeast Asia boiled over. This simulation aims to flip that script and encourage participants to begin thinking about what may be possible if actors in the Northeast Asia region came together to collaborate on a common issue. 대상: 바로 여러분입니다! 이 이벤트는 동북아시아의 평화와 화해에 관심이 있는 사람이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있습니다. 관련된 사전 경험이나 지식이 필요하지 않습니다.Who: You, of course! This event is open to anyone interested in learning about peace and negotiation in Northeast Asia. No prior experience or knowledge is required. 시뮬레이션은 한국어와 영어, 두 개의 언어로 동시 진행됩니다.
